Oral care products seller Perfora raises Rs.40-Cr led by RPSG Capital
Gurugram-based D2C (direct-to-consumer) oral care startup Perfora has raised INR 39.8 crore (around USD 4.7 million) in a funding round led by existing investor RPSG Capital Ventures. The round also saw participation from Sauce VC, Lotus Herbals Family Office, Sara International Family Office, and several individual investors. The proceeds will be used to expand the firm’s product portfolio.Founded in 2021 by Jatan Bawa and Tushar Khurana, Perfora sells electric toothbrush, probiotic mouthwash, smart flosser, and peroxide-free teeth whitening pen, among others.Perfora’s sales surged to INR 15 crore in FY23 from INR 1.4 crore in the previous year. Net loss also went up to INR 4.9 crore from INR 1 crore in FY22.
Between Jul 2021 and Feb 2023, Perfora had raised about USD 3.78 M from Alteria Capital, Dominor Investment, RPSG Capital Ventures and Sauce VC.
