OrbiMed sells 2.27% Marksans Pharma stake for Rs.257-Cr
Healthcare focused investment firm OrbiMed, through its arm OrbiMed Asia IV Mauritius FVCI, has divested a 2.27 % stake (1.02 crore equity shares) in Mumbai-based Marksans Pharma for about INR 257 crore through an open market transaction.The shares were disposed of at an average price of INR 249.95 apiece, taking the combined deal value to INR 256.78 crore.Post stake sale, OrbiMed Asia IV Mauritius FVCI's holding in Marksans Pharma slipped to 8.61 % from 10.88 %.Marksans Pharma’s portfolio includes consumer self-care products, pain management, respiratory products, digestive health, vitamins, supplements, skin care, and prescription therapeutic segments.
