Organic fertiliser co. Pehle Jaisa raises Rs.12-Cr led by Unicorn India Ventures

Gurugram-based Pehle Jaisa (Cropcoin Technologies Pvt. Ltd.) has raised INR 12 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by Unicorn India Ventures, with participation from existing investor Climate Angels.Founded in 2022 by Pankaj Pandey and Ehtesham Farooqui, Pehle Jaisa focuses on agricultural waste management and improving soil health. The company processes animal waste into organic fertilizers and bio-stimulants at the source.The fresh funding will be used by the company to scale operations from 10 districts to all 66 districts across Bihar and Jharkhand. In the next 12 to 18 months, the company plans to complete its expansion across all 66 districts in Bihar and Jharkhand, grow its farmer base to over 1.5 lakh, and strengthen its presence in the Northeast region.

In Feb-25, Pehle Jaisa had attracted about USD 300,000 from Climate Angels Fund, Others.For FY25, Pehle Jaisa had reported about INR 2.8Cr in Operating Income and about INR 0.29 Cr in Net Loss.
