OTPP, Goldman Sachs buy into healthcare mgmt solutions provider Omega

Canada’s Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (OTPP) and Goldman Sachs Alternatives are co-leading an investment in Omega Healthcare , a Bangalore- and Florida (USA)-based healthcare management solutions provider. This deal values Omega at USD 1.8 Billion, with OTPP acquiring a majority stake from Everstone Capital.Founded in 2003, Omega, with 35,000 employees globally, specializes in revenue cycle management and aims to improve healthcare efficiency through technology. It helps healthcare organizations improve their revenue cycle through services like patient access, scheduling, insurance eligibility, and claims management.
