Overseas education enabler Leverage Edu to raise Rs.500-Cr in pre-IPO funding

Delhi-based Leverage Edu plans for a pre-IPO funding round of INR 500 crore, aiming to onboard a major private equity firm ahead of its public listing. The firm is currently in talks with global private equity players to finalise this transaction while simultaneously working to select investment bankers for its upcoming public issue.Founded in 2017 by Akshay Chaturvedi and Digvijay Gangeja, Leverage Edu provides services to students applying for international universities.The firm intends to use the incoming capital to support its broader objective of reaching INR 600 crore in revenue by FY27, representing a significant increase from the INR 372 crore reported in FY26. The company reached EBITDA profitability in FY26, posting an EBITDA of INR 9.5 crore.Leverage Edu is reportedly preparing for an IPO of INR 2,000-3,000 crore, which will include a fresh issue of shares and an offer-for-sale (OFS) component. The company is targeting a valuation exceeding USD 900 million for the listing. The firm recently acquired Brazil-based international education company Mundus Agency.

Between Jan 2019 and May 2026, Leverage Edu had attracted about USD 94 M from Blume Ventures, DSG Consumer Partners, Tomorrow Capital, Trifecta Capital, Artha India Ventures, Kaizen PE, NB Ventures, Qi Ventures and others.For FY25, Leverage Edu had reported about INR 111 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 108 Cr in Net Loss.
