Packaged traditional foods startup GoDesi raises $2.8 M led by Enrission India Capital
Bengaluru-based GoDesi has raised USD 2.8 million in a Series B extension round from Enrission India Capital, alongside existing investors DSG Consumer Partners and Aavishkaar Capital.Founded in 2018 by brother-sister duo Vinay Kothari and Raksha Kothari, GoDesi operates in packaged traditional foods, offering products positioned as modern formats of familiar Indian flavours. GoDesi's flagship brand, DESi POPz, is claimed to have reached over 10 million consumers. The company has expanded its offerings across sweets, treats, and snacks, supported by in-house manufacturing and direct sourcing.GoDesi plans to use the funding to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities and expand its product range and distribution.
Between Dec 2019 and Apr 2024, Go Desi had attracted about USD 6 M from Aavishkaar, DSG Consumer Partners, Roots Ventures, Rukam Capital and others.
