Partners Group sells addl Aavas Financiers shares worth Rs.837-Cr, registers 8x return

Partners Group has sold shares worth INR 837.39 crore in publicly listed Aavas Financiers Ltd. on Aug 20, 2021 through bulk deals on the BSE. Post the latest sale, the investor would hold a 16.25% stake in the company.

From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: In Jun 2016, Partners Group invested INR 416.47 crore in Aavas Financiers. It invested an additional INR 40.50 Crore in May 2017 and INR 146.99 Crore in Mar 2018. Aavas was listed in Oct 2018 as part of which Partners Group made a part exit. The investor also sold some additional shrees in 2020.
