Payment ring startup Seven raises Rs.4-Cr led by Venture Catalysts
Mumbai-based fintech startup Seven has raised INR 4 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by Venture Catalysts, with participation from existing investors Vinners and Anchorage Capital Partners (the investment arm of the Sheth family).The fresh funds will be used by the company to launch 7 Ring Air, a budget-friendly variant and expand its presence in mass retail, metro transit, and e-commerce platforms.Co-founded in 2017 by Vijay Khubchandani, Mahek Savla, and Karthik Menon, Seven offers a wearable fintech solution that enables the users to secure tap-and-pay transactions without the need for charging, PINs, or smartphones.
