Payments infra co. Easebuzz attracts $30-M led by Bessemer

Pune-based digital payments player Easebuzz has attracted INR 240 crore (USD 30 million) in a funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners. While INR 200 crore was in the form of primary capital, INR 40 crore was a secondary transaction.Existing investors 8i Ventures and Varanium Capital also participated in the round. Dexter Capital acted as the advisor to Easebuzz for the deal. The company closed FY25 with a net profit of INR 22 crore and gross revenue of INR 650 crore.The company will invest the primary funds in brand building, attract senior level talent to build a stronger team and expand in its core areas including banking and financial services, government payments, real estate and education. Easebuzz claims to process around USD 3 billion of monthly transactions and aims to double it by the end of the current fiscal year.

In Apr 21, Easebuzz raised close to USD 4 million as part of its seed round led by 8i Ventures, Varanium Capital, and Guild Capital. Former Citrus Pay founders Amrish Rau and Jitendra Gupta also participated in the round.
