Peak XV offloads insurtech co. Go Digit’s shares worth Rs.100-Cr
Peak XV Partners, via Peak XV Partners Growth Investments III, has sold 33.3 lakh shares of publicly listed, Pune-headquartered Go Digit General Insurance in a block deal worth INR 100 crore. The shares were sold at INR 300 per piece via an open-market transaction.Founded in 2017 by Kamesh Goyal, Go Digit is a full-stack digital insurance company that offers a wide range of insurance policies across sectors such as motor vehicle, health, travel, property, among others.
Peak XV Partners had invested $39-M in Digit in May 2022. The company went public in May 2024.For FY25, Digit had reported about INR 830 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 425 Cr in PAT.
