Peak XV Partners sells 1.5% stake in fintech firm Groww worth Rs.1,756.2-Cr
Peak XV Partners has sold 9.17 crore shares (representing about 1.5% of the company's equity) of listed fintech firm Groww via a bulk deal. The transaction, executed through Peak XV Partners Investments VI-1, was completed at INR 191.49 per share and fetched INR 1,756.2 crore.As of June 30, 2026, Peak XV Partners was the largest institutional shareholder in Groww, holding a 15.7% stake equivalent to 98.4 crore shares. Including this transaction, the investor has divested a roughly 9% shareholding in the firm.
Peak XV Partners first invested in Groww in Jan 2019. The company went public in Nov 2025, as part of which Peak XV Partners had made a partial exit. It subsequently sold shares in May 2026.For FY26, Groww had reported about INR 3,059 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 1,630 Cr in PAT.
