Peak XV sells 4% stake in Mamaearth for Rs.597-Cr
Peak XV Partners (formerly Sequoia Capital India) has sold more than a 4% stake in publicly listed Honasa Consumer, the maker of Mamaearth branded personal care products, through open-market transactions on September 29, fetching Rs.596.83 Cr.Sequoia Capital Global Growth Fund III - US/India Annex Fund LP sold 5.02 lakh shares, representing 0.76 percent of Honasa Consumer's equity, for Rs 112.6 crore at Rs 450 per share. Peak XV Partners Investments VI offloaded 1.07 crore shares, or a 3.3 percent stake, for Rs 484.23 crore at Rs 450.22 per share.Their respective shareholdings in Honasa Consumer stood at 3.44 percent and 14.8 percent as of June 2026.
Peak XV Partners first invested in Mamaearth in Jan 2020. The company went public in Sep 2024, as part of which Peak XV Partners had made a partial exit.For FY26, Mamaearth had reported about INR 2,305 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 191 Cr in PAT.
