Performance footwear seller Rara Barefoot raises $500-K
Gurugram-based performance footwear startup Rara Barefoot has raised USD 500,000 in a pre-seed round from founders and senior operators of Zomato, Urban Company, Tata 1mg, Shyft, HexaHealth, as well as managing directors and partners from ChrysCapital and BCG.Founded in 2025 by Varun Mimani and Manas Tripathi, Rara focuses on creating shoes that are claimed to restore the body's natural biomechanics. The firm sells on its portal and plans to expand through multi-brand stores and experience-driven offline pop-ups in major cities by 2026.The new funds will support the firm’s national rollout, select offline retail partnerships, and local manufacturing scale-up.
