Personal care brand Typsy Beauty raises Rs.20-Cr led by Saama Capital
Delhi-based beauty and personal care company Typsy Beauty has raised INR 20 crore in a funding round led by Saama Capital with participation from the SRF Family Office and Sanjay Kapoor, founder of Genesis Luxury. Existing investors, including Tanaaz Bhatia of Borderline Media and family offices associated with Havells and Eicher Motors, also participated in the round.Founded in 2022 by Kairavi Bharat Ram, Shashank Tibrewal, and Shruti Gupta, Typsy Beauty develops makeup formulations and offers a portfolio of 27 SKUs (stock keeping units) across face, eyes, lips, and fragrance categories.The company plans to use the new funds to expand its offline footprint, accelerate its presence in the quick commerce segment and enter the skincare category.
In Nov 2023, Typsy Beauty had attracted funding from Riverwalk Holdings.For FY25, Typsy Beauty had reported about INR 13 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 14 Cr in Net Loss.
