Pet care platform Supertails raises $2.6 M from Saama Capital, DSG Consumer, others
Bengaluru-based petcare startup Supertails has raised over USD 2.6 million in pre-Series A round led by Saama Capital and DSG Consumer Partners. Other investors in the firm include Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone, Titan Capital, Sauce VC, and Whiteboard Capital. It is also backed by investors Tej Kapoor, Pankaj Naik (executive director, Avendus Capital), Abhay Hanjura and Vivek Gupta (founders, Licious). Supertails was started by former executives at online meat seller Licious, Vineet Khanna, Varun Sadana and Aman Tekriwal. The firm supports the pet parent community by providing veterinary care and a one-stop solution for pet food and supplies.
