Pet care startup Sploot to raise Rs.3-Cr from Info Edge
Redstart Labs (India) Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Info Edge (India) Ltd, is to invest INR 3 crore in New Delhi-based Sploot Pvt Ltd . Redstart will acquire 1,051, Seed-2 Series Compulsorily Convertible Preference Shares (CCPS). Post this investment, the aggregate shareholding of Info Edge, through Redstart, would go up to 26.40% on a fully converted & diluted basis from 21.96%.Sploot is in the business of providing products and services to pet parents with respect to the pet’s health, behaviour and nutrition through content and app-based help. It posted a loss of INR 5.42 crore in FY24 on an operating revenue of INR 1.79 crore.
