Pet healthcare startup Dr. Doodley raises $3.3 M led by V3 Ventures

Bengaluru-based pet healthcare startup Dr.Doodley has raised USD 3.3 million (INR 30 crore) in a Pre-Series A round led by V3 Ventures. The round also saw participation from Campus Fund, Thackersey Family Office, and angel investors, including 360 ONE Wealth founders Yatin Shah and Karan Bhagat and Dalmia Bharat Group MD Gautam Dalmia. The funding comprised INR 20 crore in equity and INR 10 crore in debt.Founded in 2023 by Utsav Bisaria and Yash Jayprakash Ladda, Dr. Doodley operates a hospital-backed, round-the-clock vet-at-home and multi-speciality pet hospital network providing services such as in-house diagnostics, imaging, surgeries, blood tests, and specialised in-patient care.The new funds will be used to open four pet hospitals in Bengaluru over the next 12 months. The firm also intends to roll out 30-minute vet-at-home services, introduce flat INR 10,000 pricing for all surgeries, and expand into other Tier I cities later this year.

In Oct 2024, Dr.Doodley had attracted about USD 1 M from Campus Fund and others.For FY24, Dr.Doodley had reported about INR 0.01 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 0.17 Cr in Net Loss.
