Petcare startup Vetic raises $40-M led by Bessemer

Gurugram-based Pet Care startup Vetic has raised USD 40-M in a funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from Greenoaks Capital, Lachy Groom, and JSW Family Office.Founded in 2022 by Gaurav Ajmera, Vetic operates a network of over 65 clinics across 11 cities, providing services that include 24-hour emergency care, veterinary home visits, an e-pharmacy, and pet supplies.The company plans to use the new funds to double its current clinic network and veterinary team capacity. Additionally, the company aims to launch its home veterinary services nationally within two quarters, deepen its insurance and wellness plan offerings, and invest in technology and artificial intelligence to enhance its service platform.

Between Oct 2023 and May 2025, Vetic had attracted about $ 42 M from Bessemer, Greenoaks Capital, LogX Ventures, Trifecta Capital, JSW Ventures and others.For FY25, Vetic had reported about INR 63 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 65 Cr in Net Loss.
