Photonic quantum-tech startup Quanfluence raises $10-M led by Chiratae Ventures

Bengaluru-based quantum technology startup Quanfluence has raised USD 10-M in a funding round led by Chiratae Ventures with participation from Rainmatter and existing investor pi Ventures.Founded in 2021 by Sujoy Chakravarty, Ravi Mehta, Biman Chattopadhyay, Anil Prabhakar, Aditi Vaidya and Sandeep Goyal, Quanfluence develops photonic quantum computing and hardware-accelerated optimisation platforms that use light waves to solve complex computational problems. It aims to integrate photonic chips, control electronics, and software into a single system.The company intends to use the fresh capital to develop and launch a four-qubit quantum computer.
