Physical AI startup Mowito raises $3-M led by Version One Ventures
Bengaluru-based Mowito has raised USD 3 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Version One Ventures. Participants in the round included All In Capital, Unisol, iSeed, and angel investors Soumith Chintala, Adarsh Kulkarni, Ashish Kulkarni, and Vaibhav Domkundwar of Better Capital.The company had previously raised USD 540,000 in an angel funding round.Founded in 2024 by Puru Rastogi, Adityanag Nagesh, and Safar V, Mowito develops physical AI foundation models for industrial robot arms. Its software enables robots to learn manufacturing tasks from demonstrations, reducing the requirement for conventional programming.The company plans to use the new funds to expand into the US, strengthen its engineering and go-to-market teams, and scale deployments across automotive and electronics manufacturers.
