pi Ventures makes first close of second fund at Rs.300-Cr
pi Ventures, an early stage venture capital fund, has made the first close of its second fund at INR 300 crore (USD 40 million). The second fund was launched in March 2021 with a base target corpus of INR 565 crore. The final close of the fund is expected around mid-2022. The fund plans to invest in 20-25 startups focused on disruptive AI and other forms of deep-tech across sectors such as blockchain, spacetech, biotech and material science.
