Precision engg player Quintrans raises $750-K led by Capital A
Pune-based Quintrans has raised USD 750,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by Capital-A, with participation from Sumeet Kabra of RR Global, SanchiConnect, AIC-Pinnacle, and existing partner IIMA Ventures, among others. The company is also part of MaXcel, a hardware and industrial technology accelerator run by Capital-A and SanchiConnect.Founded in 2021 by Pranay Luniya, Kartik Kulkarni, Aniruddha Atigre, and Prasanna Kadambi, Quintrans develops direct-drive electromagnetic linear motion systems for industrial automation, robotics, and equipment manufacturing. Its technology provides frictionless, high-speed, and ultra-precise motion for industrial applications.The startup plans to use the new funds to set up an in-house manufacturing and advanced testing facility in Pune, accelerate research and development across electromagnetic actuation, and build its core engineering and operations team for commercial rollout.
