Premium dairy Sid's Farm to raise Rs.25-Cr

Sid's Farm, a premium dairy farm set up by former techie Kishore Indukuri, is in the process of raising INR 25 crore to support its expansion plans. The firm, which claims to have achieved breakeven three years ago, is planning to expand capacity in the next two years to 50,000 litres a day from the current 20,000 litres. With about 100 cows, it has tied up with 1,500 farmers in Mahboobnagar, Rangareddy and Wanaparthy districts in Telangana, targeting the premium segment in the dairy market.
