Premium fresh produces seller Origin Fresh in talks to raise $10-M
Bengaluru-based premium fresh produce brand Origin Fresh is in talks to raise USD 10 million in a Series A funding round to enhance its supply chain, scale its retail presence, and drive customer acquisition.The company had raised USD 3.5 million across seed and pre-Series A rounds led by Aeravti Ventures, with participation from Microlabs, Sattva Family Office, the Botnar Foundation, and the Netri Foundation.Founded in 2020 by Prashanth Vasan and Sidharth Raveendran, the company operates a vertically integrated business model across B2B and D2C channels. It sources produce from more than 10,000 farmers and manages its logistics via a fleet of approximately 120 electric vehicles.The firm plans to use the fresh capital to open 10 new stores, establish 10 additional hydroponic farms, and expand its footprint into Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Delhi. The company projects an operating revenue of INR 100 crore for FY26.
In Dec 2024, Origin Fresh had attracted about $ 1 M from Aeravti Ventures, Others.For FY25, Origin Fresh had reported about INR 46 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 0.52 Cr in PAT.
