Premji Invest sells its 5.77 % stake in pharmacy chain MedPlus Health

Azim Premji-controlled private equity firm Premji Invest, through its arm PI Opportunities Fund-I, has sold 68.93 lakh shares (representing a 5.77% stake) in Hyderabad-headquartered pharmacy chain MedPlus Health Services , through a block deal on the NSE. With the latest sale, Premji Invest has completely exited MedPlus.

Between Mar 2007 and Feb 2021, MedPlus Health Services had raised about USD 286 M from PremjiInvest, Warburg Pincus, Mount Kellett, IndiaVenture, TVS Capital, Kalaari Capital, Arcapita, Peepul Capital and others.
