Product sampling platform for D2C brands Smytten raises Rs.100-Cr
Bengaluru-based Smytten, a tech-enabled product sampling and engagement platform for direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands, has raised INR 100 crore (around USD 15 million) in its latest funding round led by its existing investors Fireside Ventures and Roots Ventures. The round also saw investment from Marico chairman Harsh Mariwala's family office Sharrp Ventures, Waao Partners (family office of Einfochips founder and CEO Pratul Shroff), Rockman Industries chairman Suman Kant Munjal family office's Survam Partners and Sattva Group family office. The platform offers product samples to consumers and seeks real-time feedback from users. Smytten plans to use the new funds to hire engineering talent and enhance its tech infrastructure for brand building and customer acquisition. In August 2021, Smytten had raised USD 6 million in a Series A funding round led by Fireside Ventures and USD 1.5 million in its pre-Series A round from Roots Ventures.
