Proptech firm Bandhoo raises Rs. 7.4 Cr pre-Series A round led by VCats
Bengaluru-headquartered proptech firm Bandhoo has raised INR 7.35 crore (USD 0.9 million) in a pre-Series A funding round led by Venture Catalysts with participation from Neeraj Aggarwal, Manish Gupta, S Srinivasan, Amit Khera, and Abhishek Kumar.Bandhoo had previously raised USD 1.5 million in its seed round in June 2021 from Unitus, InfoEdge Ventures, and Bharat Innovation Fund.Co-founded in 2020 by Prashant Gupta and Sridhar Sundaram, Bandhoo provides a digital platform to help increase income opportunities for construction workers and contractors. It uses technology to support different facilities in multiple segments of the construction sector like issuing tenders for subcontracting to get the lowest possible price quotes, procuring repair and maintenance services, and an integrated system that manages contractors, subcontractors, and building material suppliers.
