Proptech startup HouseEazy raises Rs.150 crore led by Accel

Noida-based HouseEazy , a marketplace for re-sale homes, has raised INR 150 crore in a Series B funding round led by Accel India. The round also saw participation from existing investors Chiratae Ventures and Antler India.Founded in 2021 by Tarun Sainani and Deepak Bhatia, HouseEazy is a digital platform that facilitates the buying and selling of pre-owned residential properties by streamlining the resale process. It is currently active in Noida, Ghaziabad, and Gurugram and now plans to expand into other Tier-1 markets including Pune, Mumbai and Bengaluru.The new funds will be used for technology advancements, geographic expansion, and brand growth, while strengthening its basket of services.

Between Dec 2023 and Aug 2024, HouseEazy had attracted about USD 8 M from AC Ventures, Alteria Capital, Antler India, Finvolve, Chiratae Ventures and others.For FY24, HouseEazy had reported about INR 11 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 0.3 Cr in PAT.
