Proptech startup Landeed raises $5-M led by 10x Founders Fund
Hyderabad-based property search engine platform Landeed has raised USD 5 million (around INR 43.1 crore) in a fresh funding round led by 10x Founders Fund. The round also saw participation from Oliver Jung, Paradigm Shift, Pioneer Fund, Jeffrey Epstein, Onboard founder and Aaron King.The fresh capital will be used to launch Landeed Labs, a division focused on enhancing the company’s artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) capabilities, develop AI-driven solutions, recruit talent and advance product innovation.Founded in 2022 by Sanjay Mandava, ZJ Lin and Jonathan Richards, Landeed offers a platform that helps users search property titles and receive land documents at a nominal fee. The company claims to address the challenges of India’s fragmented property records system by consolidating data from 24 states into a unified, AI-powered platform.
Between Jan 2023 and Jun 2024, Landeed had raised about USD 9.30 M from Bayhouse Capital, Draper Associates, Y Combinator Continuity Fund, and Paradigm Shift Capital.
