Proptech startup Landeed raises $8.3 M
Bengaluru-based proptech startup Landeed has raised USD 8.3 million in a seed round led by Draper Associates, Y Combinator and Bayhouse Capital. The new funding will be utilised for hiring and further strengthen the company's technology infrastructure. Founded in 2022 by Sanjay Mandava, ZJ Lin and Jonathan Richards, Landeed helps users search property titles and receive land documents at a nominal fee. Within four months of its launch, Landeed claims to have received 17 lakh searches for land titles across the seven states it operates in. In addition to land documents, Landeed also provides other data points on a single screen such as guideline values and Encumbrance Certificate (a document that shows that the property in question is free from any monetary or legal disputes), among others.
From the Venture Intelligence Angel Investments Database: In Aug-22, Landeed had raised INR 19.5 crore in a pre-seed round of funding led by Justin Hamilton, CEO of Clutterbot, Goodwater Capital, Olive Tree, Founder of CRED Kunal Shah, angel investor Manmohan Chandolu, Chris Maurice (CEO of Yellow Card Financials), Christian Kaczmarczyk of Third Prime VC, and nine Y Combinator alumni.
