Providence exits UFO Moviez by selling remaining shares for Rs.25-Cr, registers 1.1x return

PE investor Providence has sold its entire residual stake of 9.43% stake in publicly listed UFO Moviez India on Jun 23, 2021, for INR 24.74 crore.

From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: In Apr-11, Providence had invested INR 271.4 crore for a 35.73% stake in UFO Moviez. The company went public in May 2015 at INR 625 per share and Providence made a part-exit as part of the IPO.
