Providence sells UFO Moviez India shares worth Rs.4.10 Cr, registers 1.1x return

PE investor Providence has sold a 1.54% stake at INR 94.11 each of publicly listed UFO Moviez India Ltd. on Jun 8, 2021 through a bulk deal on the NSE. The sale aggregates to INR 4.10 crore. Post the latest sale, the investor would hold a 13.47% stake in the company.

From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: In Apr 2011, Providence had invested INR 271.4 Cr for a 35.73% stake in UFO. The company went public in May 2015 at INR 625 per share and Providence made a part exit as part of the IPO.
