Provider of AI services to e-commerce cos. Point AI raises $5.3 M led by Yali Capital
Bengaluru-based Point AI (formerly Try ND Buy), an artificial intelligence (AI) services company for online commerce, has raised USD 5.3 million in a round led by Yali Capital. Lip-Bu Tan, CEO of Intel Corporation and chairman of Walden Catalyst and Tremis Capital, also participated in the round.The company provides AI solutions to e-commerce marketplaces for both the backend and frontend of the website. The firm would use the fresh capital to expand its presence, refine the products, invest in research and hire talent.The firm has offices in Noida and Shanghai. It has around 130 employees across locations. Point AI’s clients include Flipkart, Myntra, Japan’s Rakuten, and direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands. So far, the company has raised about USD 10 million.
