QSR chain Charcoal Eats raises Rs.45-Cr

Mumbai-headquartered Charcoal Eats , a quick service restaurant chain, has raised INR 45 crore from investors, led by Paras Pharma founder Girish Patel, in a deal estimated to value the brand at INR 200-250 crore. The round also saw participation from Anil Sanghvi, chairman at Sanghvi Erectors, Ajinkya Firodia, MD, Kinetic Group, and Rajiv Jain, managing director at JP Morgan.The nine-year-old company has 40 doors, mostly cloud kitchens in Mumbai, Pune and Delhi-NCR.
