QSR chain Popo Global raises $56-M from Artal Asia
Bengaluru-based Popo Global, which operates restaurant brands The Pizza Bakery , Paris Panini and Smash Guys , has raised USD 56 million from investment firm Artal Asia.Founded in 2017 by brothers Abhijit Gupta and Nikhil Gupta, the company owns and operates a network of restaurants across the casual dining and quick-service segments.Popo Global plans to use the new funds to expand its restaurant footprint across India and scale its portfolio of food and beverage brands.
