QSR chain Wah Foods raises $230-K from Sagar Daryani, others
Kolkata-based QSR startup Wah Foods has raised USD 230,000 in a funding round from Sagar Daryani (co-founder, Wow! Momo), Abhishek Rungta, Dot & Key co-founder, and other angel investors.The new funds will be used to add 19 new outlets in Kolkata, strengthen the core team, and build systems to support growth.Founded in 2023 by Deepak Kumar, Wah Foods currently operates 18 outlets in Kolkata and has recently launched its own D2C platform, wahfoods.com, offering fresh Puchkas and Litti-Chokha.
