Quadria Group’s HealthQuad raises Rs.550-Cr at first close of Rs.1,700-Cr Fund III

Quadria Group-backed healthcare investor HealthQuad has raised INR 550 crore in the first close of its Fund III, which is targeting a corpus of INR 1,700 crore. The fund is managed by HealthQuad Advisors, a vehicle owned by Quadria Group, through Amit Varma, Abrar Mir, and Sunil Thakur. The firm has secured commitments from existing limited partners alongside new local and global institutional investors, family offices, and fund-of-funds.Founded in 2016, HealthQuad serves as the early-growth investment arm of the Quadria Group. The firm focuses on identifying new-age healthcare companies and typically invests between USD 30 million and USD 50 million per transaction. The firm has over USD 400 million in assets under management across its three funds.The firm plans to direct the new funds toward deepening its presence in four strategic segments: healthtech, medtech, biopharma/tech, and novel healthcare delivery. The investor has already committed its first investment from the new fund into Lifesigns, which operates an AI-powered remote patient monitoring platform.
