Quantum computing platform BQP raises $4.9 M led by Monta Vista Capital
Bengaluru- and Syracuse, NY (USA)-based deep-tech startup BQP (BosonQPsi) has raised USD 4.9 M in an oversubscribed seed round led by Monta Vista Capital. Participants in the round included Arka Venture Labs, Emergent Ventures, Alumni Ventures, Empire State Development’s New York Ventures, Arc Ventures, Armory Square Ventures, Transpose Platform, Gainangels, Pranatech Venture Capital, Paradigm Shift Capital, and Griffiss Institute.Founded in 2022 by Abhishek Chopra, BQP develops quantum-accelerated simulation software for mission-critical industries, including aerospace, defence and semiconductors. The company provides quantum-inspired solvers designed for hybrid architectures, including CPUs, GPUs, and quantum computers. BQP maintains a technology hub in Bengaluru and serves partners, including the Air Force Research Laboratory.The firm plans to use the funds to expand its unified digital twin platform, BQPhy, and accelerate the development of its quantum-powered digital twin framework in collaboration with design partners.
In Jul 2025, BosonQ Psi had attracted about $ 5 M from Alumni Ventures, Arka Venture Labs, Ev2 Ventures, Gaingels, Others.
