Quantum tech startup BosonQ Psi raises $5-M from Arka Venture Labs, Others
Bengaluru- and Syracuse, NY (USA)-based deeptech startup BQP (BosonQPsi) has raised USD 5 million seed funding round led by US-based Monta Vista Capital with participation from India-based Arka Venture Labs and other US-based investors including Pranatech Venture Capital, Alumni Ventures, New York Ventures, Arc Ventures, Armory Square Ventures, Emergent Ventures, Transpose Platform and Gainangels. The funding round brings the firm’s total funding to USD 6.6 million.BQP is a quantum-first simulation firm building next-generation digital-twin platforms for critical sectors. Its flagship solution, BQPhy, plugs into existing CPU/GPU workflows without needing quantum hardware. The fresh funds will be used to fuel the development of BQP’s unified digital-twin platform, BQPhy, which targets aerospace, defence (A&D), and semiconductor sectors.
In Jul 2022, BosonQ Psi had attracted about USD 525,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by 3to1 capital with participation from Abhay Tandon, Vijay Sethi, Chandan Chowdhury, Saptroshi Hore, Neeraj Khandewal, Ankur Jain, Vijay Rajagopal, Abhishek Sureka, Shankar Rachakonda, and Anand Reddy.
