Quick-commerce startup KiranaPro ropes in badminton player PV Sindhu as investor
Bengaluru-based quick commerce startup KiranaPro has attracted investment from badminton player PV Sindhu. This investment marks the first commitment in the company’s seed funding round.Founded in 2024 by Deepak Ravindran and Dipankar Sarkar, KiranaPro operates a quick commerce platform that enables kirana stores to offer 10-minute deliveries through the ONDC network. It had recently acquired hyperlocal grocery delivery service Joper.app to boost its hyperlocal retail presence.
In Dec 2024, KiranaPro had raised about USD 0.2 M from Blume Ventures, Snow Leopard Technology Ventures, Unpopular Ventures and others.
