Quick-commerce unicorn Zepto raises $665-M at $3.6 B valuation
Mumbai-based quick commerce firm Zepto has raised USD 665 million in a Series F round at a valuation of USD 3.6 Billion. The funding round was co-led by existing investors Glade Brook Capital, Nexus Venture Partners, and StepStone Group. The round also saw participation from new investors such as DST Global, Avenir Growth Capital, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and Avra, a new fund founded by former Y Combinator executive Anu Hariharan. Other investors in the firm are Goodwater Capital, Contrary Capital and Lachy Groom.The company plans to expand its network of dark stores from 350 to over 700 by March 2025, while also entering ten new cities including Ahmedabad, Chandigarh and Jaipur. The company is also gearing up for its initial public offering (IPO).
