Quick service platform Snabbit nets $5.5 M led by Elevation Capital
Mumbai-based quick service platform Snabbit has attracted USD 5.5 million (around INR 47.6 crore) in a Series A funding round led by Elevation Capital. The round also saw participation from existing investor Nexus Venture Partners, along with a host of angel investors, including Meesho co-founders Vidit Aatrey and Sanjeev Barnwal; Unacademy co-founder Gaurav Munjal and Spinny’s founder Niraj Singh.Snabbit will use the funds for opening new micro markets in Mumbai over the next six to nine months and for expanding its customer base.Founded by Zepto’s former chief of staff Aayush Agarwal last year, Snabbit offers domestic services such as general cleaning, security guard service and laundry. Snabbit’s application is claimed to have seen more than 10,000 downloads on Google Play Store.Snabbit had earlier raised USD 1 million as a part of its seed funding round from Nexus Venture Partners.
