Quick service restaurant ?chain Biryani Blues raises $5-M
Gurugram-based Biryani Blues has raised USD 5 million in a Pre-Series C round led by (existing investor) Carpediem Capital, via its new fund, Yugadi Capital.The fresh funds will be used by the company for expansion, to upgrade the operation and logistics network and for hiring talent.Founded in 2013, by Aparna and Raymond Andrews, Biryani Blues operates a QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) model and serves Hyderabadi and Mughlai cuisines. It currently operates 68 outlets across North India and Bengaluru.
Between Aug-15 and Oct-16, Biryani Blues had attracted about USD 1.58-M from Carpediem Capital Partners, Anicut Capital.
