R-Power unit Rosa Power prepays Rs.485-Cr more to Varde Partners

Mumbai-headquartered Rosa Power Supply Company, a subsidiary of Reliance Power, has prepaid INR 485 crore loan to Singapore-based lender Varde Partners. With this, the company has achieved a zero-debt status, fully settling its outstanding debt with payment of INR 1,318 crore ahead of the original schedule.The company operates a 1,200 MW coal-based thermal power plant in Rosa village near Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh. In September, it had prepaid INR 833 crore to Varde Partners.

In Sep 2024, Rosa Power had prepaid INR 850 Cr to Varde Partners.
