Real estate focused Mt K Kapital raises Rs.4,000-Cr for second credit fund

Realty-focused fund management company Mt K Kapital has raised over INR 4,000 crore (USD 450 million) for its second India credit fund from domestic and offshore investors. General Partners of the fund are expected to commit USD 100 million to the total corpus.The new fund will invest in residential, mixed-use, and redevelopment projects across key Indian markets, including Mumbai, NCR, Pune, and Bengaluru. The credit fund has a tenure of seven years, targeting projects that can be completed within five years. The average investment size would be around INR 300 crore per project, with the first deployment anticipated by the first quarter of 2026.Mt K Kapital is backed by realty developer Rustomjee Group. Mt K Kapital's first fund was a INR 790 crore vehicle focused on the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
