Remote sensing startup Augsenselab raises $500-K

Thiruvananthapuram-based quantum sensing and remote sensing startup Augsenselab , has raised USD 500,000 in pre-seed funding from Emul Tek Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of publicly listed Solar Industries India Limited.The new funds will be used to accelerate the company’s development of advanced space- and drone-based remote sensing technologies, enhancing ELINT (Electronic Intelligence) systems for real-time signal intelligence, and deploying high-precision atmospheric profilers for weather forecasting, disaster response and critical applications.Founded in 2019 by Naveen Francis Chittilapilly, Kannan Kesavapillai, Sudheer Krishnankutty Nair, Hari Nataraj and Jinu Sukumaran, Augsenselab is a research organisation that provides AI research and engineering solutions through its advanced technologies, including Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), ELINT solutions and high-precision Atmospheric Profilers, particularly in the field of atmospheric sensing.
