ReNew Green Energy raises $95-M led by LeapFrog Investments

Gurugram-based ReNew Green Energy Solutions , the commercial and industrial (C&I) platform of ReNew Energy Global Plc, has raised USD 95 million in equity investment. While LeapFrog Investments contributed USD 50 million to this round, the rest came from the Emerging Market Climate Action Fund and Carlyle AlpInvest.ReNew Green Energy operates a portfolio with 2 gigawatts of commissioned capacity across states, including about 1.3 GW under long-term agreements with technology companies. The platform provides services to global and domestic companies in sectors such as automotive, chemicals, cement, textiles, and technology. The fresh funds will be used for the expansion of the company’s C&I platform.
