Renewable energy co Ampin raises Rs.292-Cr from Swiss firm ResponsAbility
New Delhi-headquartered renewable energy company Ampin Energy Transition , formerly Amp Energy India, has raised USD 35 million (about INR 292 crore) from ResponsAbility Investments AG, a Swiss impact asset manager specialising in private market investments.Ampin will use the funds to implement various projects under its special purpose vehicles, mainly in commercial and industrial (C&I) solar across sectors in India. This includes manufacturing, auto and auto ancillary, pharma, healthcare, hospitals, FMCG, and data centres. The company plans to expand its operating capacity to 10 gigawatt peak (GWp) by 2030.
