Restaurant chain Burma Burma gets Rs.25.46 Cr led by Negen Capital

Mumbai-based restaurant chain Burma Burma has raised INR 25.46 crore (around USD 3 million) in a fresh funding round led by Negen Capital. The round also saw participation from NV Alpha Fund Management and high net worth individuals (HNIs).The new funds will be used to increase the firm’s restaurant portfolio to 24 by the end of FY26 and to take the company to INR 300 crore in revenue within two financial years.Founded in 2014 by Ankit Gupta and Chirag Chhajer, Burma Burma , which offers Burmese cuisine, operates 12 restaurants and delivery kitchens in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Ahmedabad.

Between Nov 2022 and Jul 2024, Burma Burma had raised about USD 4 M from Negen Capital and others.
