Restaurant chain Burma Burma raises Rs.38-Cr

Mumbai-based Burmese cuisine restaurant chain Burma Burma has raised INR 38 crore, at a valuation of INR 500 crore, from existing investor Negen Capital, with new investors Endurance Capital and Coheron Wealth.Founded in 2012 by Chirag Chhajer and Ankit Gupta, Burma Burma is a specialized restaurant chain offering vegetarian Burmese cuisine. The company currently operates 21 outlets across multiple Indian cities, including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, and Chandigarh.The new funds will be used to expand into new cities and strengthen its presence in existing markets.

Between Nov 2022 and Dec 2024, Burma Burma had attracted about USD 7 M from Negen Capital and others.For FY25, Burma Burma had reported about INR 106 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 1 Cr in Net Loss.
